Insolvency Manager – South West

South West | £45,000–£55,000

Garry Howling Recruitment is recruiting for an Insolvency Manager opportunity across the South West for an experienced insolvency professional ready to take ownership of a varied caseload and support the wider development of a specialist team.

This is a hands-on management role suited to someone who can combine strong technical casework with effective organisation, client communication and team supervision.

The Role

You will be responsible for progressing a portfolio of insolvency assignments efficiently and to a high professional standard.

Responsibilities are expected to include:

• Managing a varied portfolio of insolvency cases
• Taking responsibility for the effective progression of assignments
• Reviewing casework and maintaining accurate, complete files
• Supervising and supporting junior members of the team
• Providing practical guidance and on-the-job development
• Managing deadlines, priorities and workflow across active cases
• Communicating professionally with clients and other stakeholders
• Maintaining high technical and regulatory standards
• Identifying opportunities where clients may require wider professional support

About You

You will have solid insolvency experience and be comfortable taking responsibility for cases at Manager level.

You should bring:

• Substantial practical insolvency experience
• Experience managing or progressing your own caseload
• Strong organisation and case-management skills
• Good technical understanding of insolvency procedures
• The ability to review work and maintain high-quality files
• Confidence dealing with clients and professional stakeholders
• Experience supervising or supporting less experienced colleagues
• A practical, commercially aware approach to problem solving
