A senior Partner job in Manchester is available for an experienced accountancy practice leader with the commercial judgement, technical breadth and progressive outlook to make a meaningful impact at partnership level.

This role would suit an established Partner, Director or senior practice professional with broad experience across accounts, audit, tax and advisory work, combined with the confidence to lead client relationships, develop teams and contribute to the strategic direction of a modern accountancy practice.

The opportunity is particularly suited to someone who embraces technology and sees digital tools, cloud accounting and AI as ways to improve client service and create more commercially valuable advice.

The Role

As Partner, you will take a senior role across client delivery, leadership and practice development.

Responsibilities are likely to include:

• Managing and developing significant client relationships.
• Providing senior oversight across accounts, audit, tax and advisory work.
• Leading and developing experienced practice teams.
• Maintaining strong technical and commercial standards.
• Contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the practice.
• Identifying opportunities to broaden client relationships and services.
• Providing commercial and strategic advice to business owners.
• Supporting advisory, transaction and corporate finance work where relevant.
• Championing effective use of technology to improve efficiency and client delivery.

About You

This Partner role would suit someone with:

• Significant experience at Partner, Director or equivalent senior level in UK accountancy practice.
• Broad experience across core practice services.
• Strong leadership and team-development capability.
• Proven experience managing senior client relationships.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
• Confidence operating as part of a senior leadership team.
• A progressive approach to cloud accounting, technology and modern client service.

An ACA, ACCA, FCA or equivalent professional qualification would be expected at this level.

Previous Responsible Individual experience would be advantageous where relevant, but is not being treated as essential unless subsequently confirmed.
